Bird's Eye
Bird's Eye is a collaboration between Computer Science and Dance, an interactive dance piece that explores perspective, sensing, time and memory. An investigation into computational perception for performance, the dance piece uses a projector-camera system to track the dancer and provide live visualizations of the past, present and future states of the dance.

A projector-camera system was developed leveraging some of the technology built for the IMP. The system uses an overhead prosilica ethernet camera and software written in Processsing for both the image processing and the visualizations. The dance was choreographed by Peggy Florin and performed by Ben Wolk.
